A society woman believes her husband is having an affair, a misconception which may have dire personal consequences for all involved.

The film is based on Oscar Wilde’s 1892 play Lady Windermere’s Fan

Voted one of the New York Times’ 10 Best Films of 1925.

In 2002, Lady Windermere’s Fan was selected for preservation in the United States National Film Registry by the Library of Congress, being deemed “culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant.”
