The Red House (1947)
American Film Noir Mystery Drama.
An old man and his sister are concealing a terrible secret from their adopted teen daughter, concerning a hidden abandoned farmhouse, located deep in the woods.
The film, based on the novel of the same name by George Agnew Chamberlain, was serialized in” The Saturday Evening Post” from 3/10/1945 to 4/7/1945, before being published in book form.
The Red House was the final film of Ona Munson, and the film debut of Allene Roberts.
