The World Gone Mad (1933)
American pre-Code crime drama.
A district attorney and a reporter try to find the killer of a D.A. who uncovered a massive stock fraud.
One scene takes place in from of a theatre where posters for The Vampire Bat (1933) are on display. “The Vampire Bat” was one of Majestic’s biggest hits, and remains the most widely seen of its existing films. It had gone into release about three months before the release of this film.
The World Gone Mad was also released as The Public Be Hanged.
